Nice staff but when bike was in for a replacement cramkset to be installed he but more expensive parts on the bike. Didn't tell me and gave me an invoice for twise the amount he said when I gave the bike in. But he did replace all of the new parts with the old ones upon request.
Was touring with a mate on a bike which could have done with a service before wed started so the chainset was badly worn. We took it in after being turned down by Halfords, they took it in in their stride and had it done in an hour. Massive morale boost, thanks again from Langdon Beck
Fantastic local bike shop with a wealth of experience and knowledge. Always great service and they put plenty into the local racing & club scene. A level of experience that the online giants cannot come close to and Cowleys prices give them a run for their money.
they force works on you for repair, what you don't really need. Usual 20 pound job ended up at 100!
Turned up just past closing time but Steve re-opened the shop for me in my time of need! Cant ask for better service than that and prices seemed dead reasonable too. Great to have such a friendly Local Bike Shop. Thanks guys.
