What can you say about a car park, here goes.Its free to park and never too busy,no ruts nor divets. Literally just off the main road and safe to eject your pets without danger.A beautiful setting and the ideal starting point for a ramble through the heathered walkway to the brow of the hill, where the views are awesome.The walk only takes an hour or so around the lake and back to your car.Worth a vist
Loved by many who drive up especially to walk their dogs. It is about 900m on the path around the outside so consider heading up the woods and o to the moor top for a longer walk.The area upstream of the reservoir is popular in the warmer months for family picnics and paddling in the beck. Very pretty area.

Super walks, super scenery, super place for kids to play in the beck. Brilliant family fun and picnic.
Good place to go with family. Awesome views around the river and on the moors/fields. Most of the time there are ducks, geese and swans swimming on the lake. Me and my family really enjoyed it.Clothing I wouldn't recommend dressing fancy but wear decent clothes. I would also recommend you to wear wellington boots or walking shoes/boots. If it has been raining there will be mud on the grass so make sure you wear old shoes(mentioned above )Facilities There are no toilets at cod beck reservoir. There are benches for you to sit on of you get tired.*BE RESPECTFUL TO ALL WILDLIFE*
