I purchased a pair of Opticron binoculars from Grovers at their try before you buy event at Nosterfield LNR. The event was very well organised by Marcus and his guidance in helping me choose which binoculars would be suitable was excellent. I spent close to an hour trying different variations before making a decision and nothing was too much trouble.I left feeling very satisfied with my purchase.
ABSOLUTLEY FANTASTIC!. With so many optics on the market its almost impossible to know what is best for you or your needs. Thats why this independent family run store is so important in and so good. We spoke to a man called Marcus who made the time to help me understand how telescopes and spotting scopes work. For 2 hours we tested different styles using the vast amount they have on display. This helped us make the right purchase and we were comfortable from start to finish with no pressure at all like you get from large retailers pushing sales. Overall i put this 5/5. You cant beat independant retailers for that personal touch and tailoured purchases.
I've bought 2 telescopes and a pair of high powered binoculars etc from Grovers. I can truthfully say, you won't get better personal service anywhere. Marcus will bend over backwards to help you, an exceptional well stocked shop.
